Son Vida or Bendinat: where should you buy?

Both areas suit buyers looking for a villa close to Palma, but they offer different surroundings. Start with your daily routine and the kind of home you want, then compare individual properties within the same budget.

Consider Son Vida for space and a hillside setting

Son Vida is worth exploring if your priorities are a villa, a garden and the setting around the golf courses. An elevated position can bring open views, but compare the gradient, driveway and usable outdoor space. Plan to check the actual drive to Palma and the places you will visit regularly.

Consider Bendinat for a home near the coast

Bendinat includes different settings, from established streets in Old Bendinat to homes on higher ground. If walking to the beach, Portals Nous or Puerto Portals matters to you, check the route from each house. A coastal address does not automatically mean an easy walk or a sea view.

Compare the homes, as well as the areas

Look at living space, the plot, condition, privacy and what you would need to change. Visit at different times of day if possible. A bright terrace during a morning viewing may feel quite different in the afternoon, and the quieter street can matter more than the better-known address.
